We all brought a sack lunch instead of a potluck this meeting. We had some lovely show and tell from Leigh.

she had volunteered to make hats for the veterans in the nursing homes and
Veteran's home. So far she has completed 49 hats, has 6 more ready to sew up
and one more on the machine. Only 35 more to go, for a total of 90 hats!
Thankfully, one of the women in her VFW Ladies Auxiliary donated 3 garbage bags
of yarn, so she should be able to get most, if not all, made from free yarn!
Can't beat that! Thanks, Elaine, for showing us how to make the "charity
hat" at the last meeting!
